2024 Big Bass Splash Friday Overall Standings
Day one of the 40th Annual Big Bass Splash at Lake Sam Rayburn brought many firsts.
- In the 8 am hour, a Big Bass Splash angler earned $20,000 for one fish ($10K for the top fish if the hour and another $10K for having the official tourney t-shirt)
- In the 9 am hour, three anglers each won $10,000 (one for the big bass of the hour, and two others for exact weight winners)
- In the final hour, it took at least a 7-pound bass to crack the top twelve of the hour.
- Three double-digit bass are in the top three overall after the first day of Sealy Outdoors tournament
Yes, day number one was wild with plenty of big fish coming to the scale. You weren't getting a check unless you brought in a fish weighing at least 5.5 pounds.
