Alabama-Coushatta Tribe Holding Job Fair for Casino
If things go to plan, a new casino will be open in less than two weeks in Dallardsville, near Livingston. Naskila Entertainment indicates the tribal gaming site on the Alabama-Coushatta Reservation should be open by May 1st.
A two-day job fair will be held for those interested in gaining employment at the casino. Day one of the job fair will take place on Tuesday, April 19th from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. and again from 4:30-7 p.m. The first day of the job fair is open only to tribal members, however, tribal members and the general public are welcome to the 2nd day of the job fair on April 20th. Wednesday's hours will be 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. and 3-6 p.m. The fair will be held at the Tribal Multi-Purpose Center at 333 State Park Road 56.
Some of the positions that will be open include:
- Accountant, auditors, accounts payable
- Cage and vault cashiers
- Count team
- Security and EMT services
- Machine attendants and technicians
- Database analyst
- HR generalist
- IT and surveillance technologies
- Food and beverage servers
- Kitchen staff
- Guest services representative
- Telephone receptionist
- Retail sales
