It’s a tale as old as time.

On Sunday night Angela Lansbury made a surprise appearance at a special New York screening of Disney’s Beauty and the BeastThe 1991 classic made its debut as a work in progress at the Film Society of Lincoln Center 25 years ago this month, so what better way to celebrate than have the original Mrs. Potts sing “Beauty and the Beast”? Watch Lansbury take the stage and take you right back to your childhood:

Lansbury was accompanied by composer Alan Menken on the piano for the classic song, which won the Oscar and Golden Globe for Best Original Song. Menken also performed a medley of other Disney classics from Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Hercules and Enchanted, according to Entertainment Weekly. The anniversary screening also included appearances by original cast members Paige O’Hara, who voiced Belle, Robby Benson, who voiced Beast, Richard White, who played Gaston.

But there's more Beauty and the Beast love to come. The French live-action version of the story, starring Léa Seydoux and Vincent Cassel, hits U.S. theaters this week while the upcoming Disney live-action film opens March 17, 2017.
