Blue Bell Introduces a New Ice Cream Flavor for Breakfast Lovers
It has been my experience that Blue Bell rarely introduces new flavors during the winter season. That makes sense, during a Polar Blast with snow-covered beaches, consumers aren't usually clearing the shelves of things that make us colder.
Granted, Blue Bell will re-introduce seasonal flavors such as Mardi Gras King Cake or Christmas Cookies, but guess who popped into our radio station this morning with an all-new ice cream flavor?
Strawberry Toaster Pastry
Are you a fan of strawberry Pop Tarts? Well, imagine the crusted borders, white icing along with colorful confetti sprinkles, and gooey strawberry filling, and then mix that into creamy vanilla ice cream.
Boom! You've got Blue Bell Strawberry Toaster Pastry Ice Cream. Please, don't put the ice cream into the toaster.
Ice Cream for Breakfast Day
The new flavor is available in stores as of today (January 23). This means you have a full week to purchase a pint just in time for National Ice Cream for Breakfast Day on February 1.
One of Blue Bell's many other flavors is Java Jolt. If you really want to go all out to celebrate this day, coffee and toaster pastry, albeit ice cream, is the way to go!
Strawberry Toaster Pastry is now available in the pint-size, but only for a limited time.
Good News for Tin Roof Ice Cream Fans
Tin Roof Ice Cream is one of our family favorites, however, it's been tough trying to find it in grocers' freezers. Blue Bell says that Tin Roof is back in the half-gallon size, so I'll be making a trip to Brookshire Brothers soon to see if it's back yet.
Tin Roof is a vanilla ice cream with a rich chocolate sundae sauce and roasted peanuts dipped in a dark chocolate-flavored coating.
