Car Jumps Curb, Strikes Life Chain Participant in Jacksonville

According to a report, Prolife leader, Margie Benge of Jacksonville, was hit by a motorist Sunday at the Life Chain event in Jacksonville. 

Benge was listed in serious condition.

It's not known whether the driver of the vehicle intentionally drove onto the curb or whether there were other factors involved.  Police are investigating.

The Life Chain is an annual event in which participants form lines near roadways to pray for the support of life from conception to natural death.   Benge was holding a sign which read 'Adoption is a loving option'.
