Corrigan Native Receives Promotion in U.S. Navy

Congratulations are in order for Corrigan, Texas native Frank Sprayberry.  He is currently serving our country in the United States Navy and he was recently promoted to Chief Warrant Officer 3.   

In the picture above, Sprayberry recites the oath of office with USS Makin Island (LHD 8) Commanding Officer Capt. Mark A. Melson during a promotion ceremony in the ship's wardroom. Makin Island, the flagship of the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group, is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
