East Texas Band Members of the Week Recognized

Our outstanding area band members for the latest KICKS 105 Friday Night Football Frenzy have been announced.

Taylor Carrell is the Huntington high school band member of the week. Taylor’s commitment to the band program as a whole is what makes him stand out. He is the brass section leader and low brass specialist. He is in the band hall every morning and every afternoon practicing.

Band members of the week for the Lufkin High School marching band are:

Ashley Guel -  senior drum major and percussionist.  She exemplifies a positive attitude and is a great student leader.

Sebastian Gonzales - senior percussionist and section leader.  He always pushes himself and those around him to reach a higher level of performance.
