East Texas Veterans Honored With Handmade Quilts

The Livingston Piecemakers Quilt Guild honored East Texas veterans yesterday with hand made works of art that highlighted service to country and community.

The tradition of quilting has been around for ages. Back in the days before Facebook, ladies would gather around and sew memories into each quilt, and it's a time honored tradition that holds a special place in the hearts of many.

You can't help but to smile to see these veterans being bestowed with something so meaningful.

The Livingston Piecemakers Quilt Guild really outdid themselves this year, and showed us all how to honor our veterans in a magnificent way.
