It's not a very common occurrence for the Pineywoods to get a blanket of snow during the Winter.  It's downright wacky if it happens twice within 7 days.  But, forecasters are indicating it's a possibility.

Another blast of arctic air will be making its way into East Texas on Monday, then  by Monday evening and Tuesday, a low pressure system from the West will give the area a decent chance of precipitation.  At this point, most of southeast Texas all the way through the Pineywoods has the best chance of seeing ice or snow.  Once you get north of Nacogdoches county, not much accumulation is expected.

As is always the case with forecasting wintry weather in East Texas, you never know what you're gonna get (sorry Forrest Gump).  So, I wouldn't be surprised to see a non-event all the way to a couple inches of snow.  One thing's for sure, you can count on KICKS 105 and our website to keep you up to date!
