Last Saturday, parts of the Pineywoods experienced severe weather in the form of huge hail and tornadoes, unfortunately, this Saturday could be a repeat.

Warm, moist gulf air and a quickly approaching cool front will give Deep East Texas the ingredients once again for strong thunderstorms throughout the day and evening on Saturday.  According to the latest forecast from the National Weather Service, we should start getting stray storms across the area throughout the morning on Saturday, but the best chance of the worst storms will come during the afternoon and evening hours.  Tornadoes, large hail, damaging winds, and heavy downpours are all possibilities.
