When Will These Severe Storms Hit East Texas?

Hit-and-miss showers and thunderstorms should start moving across the Pineywoods sometime before lunchtime. The best chance of strong to severe storms should occur in the afternoon to early evening hours. The cold front associated with these storms should pass through the area by late night on Wednesday, which will diminish the chances of storm development.

The high temperature on Thursday should only reach the mid-60s before rebounding to the 70s and 80s for the weekend. No rain is forecast for the weekend.
