Lufkin Photographer Offering a Budget-Friendly Treasure For Moms
Mother's Day is coming up on Sunday, May 10. Just for fun, I did a Google search for the most common gifts for mom on her special day. Some of the top results include flowers, gift cards, personalized greeting cards, lunch or dinner outings, jewelry, home goods, accessories, or a trip to the spa or nail salon. Among all the most common answers, I did not see one reference to something that's being offered this Saturday in Lufkin.
Pay What You Can Photo Mini-Sessions
Shellie Clark has a photography business, and to celebrate area moms, she is hosting "Pay What You Can Mini-Sessions" this Saturday at the Angelina County Farmers Market. Her goal is to make sure every mom, regardless of her budget, can walk away with a professional portrait to cherish. Take a look at an example of one of her portraits below.
Shellie is a big believer in capturing these kinds of authentic community stories, reactions, and unscripted emotions. Moms...isn't this just the perfect keepsake that you would treasure as a Mother's Day present?
Shellie Clark Photography will be set up in the gazebo from 10-3 this Saturday at the Angelina County Farmers Market, located at 2107 S. Medford Drive in Lufkin. There is no set cost for the photos; just pay what you can. The first 60 people at her booth will also get a free cupcake.
It's also the grand opening and customer appreciation day at the Farmers Market, which opens at 9 am. Free hot dogs will be served starting at 11.
