On Sunday evening around 11:30 pm, the Nacogdoches County Sheriff received a call of a theft in progress. The Sheriff's Office was advised that a homeowner had found three subjects on his property that were in the process of stealing items.

Deputies responded to the call on County Road 127 and found the vehicle leaving the scene that was occupied by three adults.  Deputies attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver refused to stop. A pursuit started and deputies continued to pursue the vehicle at high rate of speeds on Highway 59. The pursuit continued for several miles into the Appleby area. The vehicle pulled into a residence on County Road 250 and all three occupants fled on foot from the vehicle.

Julie Saxon (left), 33, from Corrigan and Travis Wilbanks (right), 33, from Hudson were arrested after a short foot pursuit. Both subjects were transported to the Nacogdoches County Jail and charged with Theft of a firearm, a state jail felony, and evading arrest and detention.

Deputies and investigators conducted a manhunt for several hours for the driver of the car who has been identified as Terran Speaker (middle), 32, from Huntington. Speaker was not located during the search. Arrest warrants for Speaker have been issued for Theft of a Firearm and Evading arrest in a motor vehicle, both state jail felonies. Anyone with information on Speaker’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Nacogdoches County Sheriff Office.

The Texas Department of Public Safety and the Nacogdoches Police Department both assisted in the manhunt of the three subjects.
