Sleet, snow, and freezing rain are possible again in the Pineywoods, but as is usually the case, you'll probably be running the air coniditioner by the end of the week.  A Winter Weather Advisory is in place for portions of East Texas beginning late tonight.

The National Weather Service is forecasting the possibility of freezing rain in the area late tonight, then rain on Tuesday, then the chance of a wintry mix Tuesday night and early Wednesday.  Counties under the advisory include Angelina , Nacogdoches, Tyler, Sabine, San Augustine, Shelby, Jasper, and Newton.

Polk, Houston, Trinity, and Cherokee counties are not included.

The Texas Department of Transportation is on alert and will be ready to send trucks to place gravel or sand on area bridges and overpasses if necessary.  Listen to KICKS 105 to keep up with all the weather updates.
