Many successful Country songs have been written about existing TV shows or motion pictures.  Here is a Country song that had a TV movie made based on it.

2011 - EMI releases the Eric Church album "Chief".

2005 - Broken Bow releases Jason Aldean's self-titled debut album.

2005 - Dierks Bentley's concert at the House of Blues in Los Angeles is interrupted by Marty Stuart, who extends an invitation to join the Grand Ole Opry. Bentley's response: "Hell, yeah!".

2003 - Keith Urban's "Who Wouldn't Wanna Be Me" video makes its TV debut on CMT.

2003 - Lonestar tops the Billboard country singles chart with "My Front Porch Looking In".

1999 - Shania Twain's "Come On Over" is certified for shipments of 12 million copies, passing her own "The Woman In Me" as the best-selling country album by a female.

1986 - Randy Travis scores his first #1 single in Billboard with "On The Other Hand".

1968 - Jeannie C. Riley records "Harper Valley P.T.A.".

1956 - Record producer Scott Hendricks born in Clinton, Oklahoma. An executive with Capitol, Virgin and Warner Bros., he produces Brooks & Dunn, Blake Shelton, Restless Heart, Trace Adkins and Alan Jackson, among others.

1947 - Guitarist Al Anderson born in Windsor, Connecticut. After a stint in the eclectic rock band NRBQ, he becomes a major songwriter, creating such hits as "Love's Gonna Make It Alright," "Unbelievable," "Big Deal" and "All You Ever Do Is Bring Me Down".
