Atwoods Planning Grand Opening Celebration In Lufkin

It's been about two weeks since I have done a story about the Atwoods Ranch & Home Goods store, and when it might open in Lufkin, Texas. The original first-day opening of April 17, 2024 has long passed.

The new grand opening date is set for May 15, 2024. This might upset some community members, since the running joke on social media of when Atwoods is going to open will finally end.

Atwoods In Lufkin Has A Grand Opening Celebration Plan

In a post on social media, Atwoods made the following statement.

Atwoods of Lufkin, TX is opening soon! We sincerely appreciate the community's understanding and patience as our team has worked through some delays, and we are so excited for you to see our new store! Join us for our Grand Opening celebration, May 15th-19th, for Lufkin exclusive deals, giveaways, and more!

Though some will believe it when they see it, I can say that I am confident that this will be the real grand opening date. They have pushed through many different issues with this store, and I am positive the company wants to open the store just as badly as the customers want to shop there.

Huge Lufkin Atwoods Ranch & Home Store Opening May 15th

On June 1, 2024, they have planned a live radio station remote with Townsquare Media's own Kicks 105 from 2 pm to 4 pm. These broadcasts are always a good time. If you are available, I would stop by while they are there.

Lia's Kitchen Closes For Good

Lufkin's only bastion of Vietnamese and other Asian infusion closes up shop in Downtown Lufkin. Owners will continue to operate Iron Grill in the South Loop Crossing with all of our favorite menu items from Lia's Kitchen.
