  • The Angelina County Farmers Market will be under new management starting April 1, 2023.
  • The New Lufkin Farmers Market has announced their location
  • All vendors and events will move to this new market

In what has been a confusing time for many shoppers of the Angelina County Farmers Market, we have recently gained more clarity on the future of the current renters at the facility.

Starting on April 1, 2023, the Angelina County Farmers Market will be under new management. The current renters, Bryan Farms, will be leaving to start their own farmers market, which will be called the "Lufkin Farmers Market."

The Lufkin Farmers Market is being brought to you by Bryan Farms & Nursery and the Lufkin VFW Post 1836. The market will be held at the VFW Post, located at 1800 Ford Chapel Road in Lufkin.

All Previously Planned Events Will Continue At Lufkin Farmers Market

The last animal and garage sale by Bryan Farms & Nursery at the Angelina County Farmers Market will take place this Saturday. After that, the market will transition over to the VFW location and continue all its planned events there.

They have an Easter Egg Hunt on April 8, 2023, at 1 pm, with vendors, games, and food. This event will be added to the regular events that they already have planned.

I really enjoy the drive-thru Christmas light display they started, and Bryan Farms has already reassured everyone that it will continue at the new venue. They are also bringing all of their vendors with them to the new location.

No word on what would go on when the VFW Fall Festival comes again, but this should be a great way to utilize the VFW the other 51 weeks of the year.

To help shoppers visualize what the new Lufkin Farmers Market will look like when it moves to the VFW, they have provided a few photos in the gallery below.
