Victor Mills is this Week’s Deep East Texas Community Rockstar

Like we keep telling you, Deep East Texas has no shortage of awesome people doing awesome things just to make the area better. And, since it's Friday, it's time to highlight another one of those people, and give them the title of Community Rockstar.

Victor Mills is the Newest Deep East Texas Community Rockstar

This week's Community Rockstar is Victor Mills. Victor is a local guy who grew up in the Lufkin community and graduated from Hudson in 2018. But he's still here today, and still working on making the Deep East Texas region better.

According to the nomination that we received, Victor has worked in the funeral business, and he also works at Johnston Monument Company in Lufkin, "designing custom memorials that celebrate the lives and legacies of those who have passed." Not only does he help families through the design process but also helps guide them through the ordering and installation process as well.

In addition to helping out families of Deep East Texas, Victor is also looking after a family of his own, alongside his wife, Kayla. They have one son and a newborn daughter. So, you can add being a dad and family man to his Community Rockstar resume.

Because of what he's doing to watch out for families here in the Deep East Texas community, as well as watching out for his own family, Victor Mills is the newest Deep East Texas Community Rockstar. Congratulations, Victor!
