The Nacogdoches Jalapeño Tree Goes Dark for Renovations Starting August 10th

It's no secret that Nacogdoches has a lot of construction going on right now. There's the new EasTex Veterinary Clinic, ALL of the construction going on at SFA, the new Marshall's, and - of course - you can't miss the construction of I-69. But we just found out that one of the Nacogdoches restaurants is about to undergo what sounds like some massive renovations, as well.

Jalapeño Tree in Nacogdoches Shutting Down Temporarily for Renovations

According to the official Jalapeno Tree Facebook page, the Nacogdoches location will be shutting down on August 10th for renovations. According to the post the, "Nacogdoches location will be temporarily closed August 10th - 30th for renovations".

As you can see, it doesn't go into much detail about what kinds of renovations will be taking place during that down time. With a timeline of 20 days, I'm thinking that the renovations will be pretty extensive, whether they're renovating the kitchen, the dining area, or all of the above. 20 days is a pretty extended time.

According to the Jalapeño Tree website, the restaurant chain opened the Nacogdoches location in 2006. Personally, I can't remember them making any large-scale renovations since then (That doesn't mean that they haven't done any, that just means that I don't remember them).

After 20 years, it's probably time to make some changes and some upgrades. I'm excited to see what kinds of things are coming about with these renovations. Sure, the temporary closure might be inconvenient for a short time, but the updates should be worth it in the end.
