Jack Ingram Offers Up Gruff New Take on Miranda Lambert’s ‘Tin Man’
If you still haven't heard, Texas legend Jack Ingram co-wrote Miranda Lambert's "Tin Man," along with John Randall. The song, which was included on her critically and commercially acclaimed album The Weight of These Wings went on to be nominated for Country Solo Performance, and Country Song this year at the Grammys.
Both Grammys wound up going to Chris Stapleton, in fact Stapleton went on to have an historic night taking home three Grammys. However, his well-deserved success can't take away from the greatness of this song.
This week Jack Ingram teamed up with the Texas Gentlemen to share his version of the song, which is every bit of as emotional as Lambert's, but just a bit more gritty.
