Lauren Alaina brought her fun song "Ladies in the '90s" to Late Night With Seth Meyers on Tuesday night (Feb. 19).

Alaina put on a purple gleaming dress with shoulder pads for that authentic early '90s feel, even though she wasn't born until the middle of the decade. The in-studio crowd was into her performance, clapping and grooving along.

"I just wanna feel like ladies in the '90s / Turn the dial and find me some Strawberry Wine / So I can sing all night long, acting like I'm Britney / Come on baby, hit me just one more time, hey / Man, I feel like a woman / I can feel you breathe when you say my name / Hey, I don't want no scrubs / Need a cowboy to take me away / I wanna feel like ladies in the 90's / Ladies in the '90s, hey hey hey," Alaina sings in the chorus.

The Best Country Songs to Come Out of the 1990s:

"I grew up in a time when ladies dominated on the radio. I grew up listening to DollyReba, Shania, Martina, Faith, Trisha, and so many more amazing, inspiring women on country radio," Alaina explains. "I sang their songs from the backseat and dreamed up my dream. I believed I could do it because they were doing it."

Alaina co-wrote "Ladies in the '90s" with Amy Wadge (who also co-wrote Ed Sheeran's epic "Thinking Out Loud"), along with Jesse Frasure (who also co-wrote Jon Pardi's "Dirt on My Boots").

The one-time American Idol runner-up is currently on the road with Blake Shelton on his 2019 Friends and Heroes Tour. Alaina snagged the supporting spot as the only female act alongside icons Trace AdkinsJohn Anderson and the Bellamy Brothers.
