East Texas fans of traditional country music are in for a treat, actually several treats, over the next few weeks.

TNT - A Dynamite Show

Saturday, June 22nd, the Smith Family Foundation presents this concert which features legendary country performers T.G. Sheppard and T. Graham Brown. Doors will open at the Polk County Commerce Center in Livingston at 6 p.m. and showtime is at 7 p.m.

Kelly Lang and East Texas' own Johnny Riley will be performing. Tickets are $20 for general admission and range up to $40 for reserved seating. Proceeds will benefit the Polk County Commerce Center and College.

T.G. Sheppard

His career has included 21 #1 hits, a close bond with Elvis Presley, and a stint with Motown Records. His long trail of chart-toppers includes "Party Time", "I Loved 'em Every One", and "War is Hell on the Homefront, Too".

T. Graham Brown

The career of this soulful singer has spanned five decades. He's given us huge hits like "I Tell it Like it Used to Be", "Wine Into Water", and "Hell and High Water". He also hosts LIVE WIRE on Sirius XM.

Gene Watson: Outside the Box

On Thursday, July 11th, one of the smoothest vocalists ever in country music will perform at the Pines Theater in downtown Lufkin. Watson has had 23 top-ten songs with eleven of those reaching the top of the chart.

He has given us iconic songs like "Love in the Hot Afternoon", "Fourteen Carat Mind", and "Farewell Party".

Here's the bad news...the event at The Pines is basically sold out. Only a few scattered single tickets are remaining as of this posting.
