LoCash’s Preston Brust Welcomes a Baby Boy!
LoCash's Preston Brust and his wife, Kristen, have welcomed their second child, a baby boy.
Legend Wilde Brust was born on Friday (Aug. 10) at 6:39PM in Nashville, People reports. He weighed 8 lbs., 1 oz. and measured 19 inches long at birth.
“And just like that, our hearts have opened up in all new ways,” Brust tells People. “Every map in life needs a Legend. We’re so blessed.”
A representative for LoCash says the baby arrived earlier than expected, which caused some schedule drama. LoCash were slated to play at the All Ohio Balloon Festival in Marysville, Ohio, on Friday, and when Brust got the call that his wife was in labor, they had to cancel the show abruptly. Several flights later, he made it back to Nashville just in time to be wife his wife in the delivery room.
After the festival announced LoCash would not be performing "due to an unforeseen circumstance" via Facebook on Friday, some fans were worried the venue would not refund their tickets and turned to Twitter to vent.
"Hey everybody. Update coming soon," LoCash tweeted on Saturday afternoon (Aug. 11). "Shows will go on as usual tonight and so on. But wow, if no one understands the birth of a baby, oh well. We have nothing to do with refunds or tix prices That is up to venue, not us, I’m sure and hope they work it out for you. We apologize."

The Brusts announced they were expecting again in April, posting a sweet family photo with their daughter, Love Lily, who was born in January of 2016.
"With full hearts, we’re excited to announce we have a new roommate movin’ in this August," they wrote.
The joyful news came after a period of heartbreak. In late 2017, Kristen shared in a blog post titled "What Heaven Takes" that she had suffered a miscarriage.
Brust's LoCash bandmate, Chris Lucas, and his wife Kaitlyn have three children of their own, most recently welcoming a daughter, Violet Reid, in September of 2017.
The duo have just released a new single, "Feels Like a Party," and announced a new deal with Wheelhouse Records. They are set to perform at the Watertown Fairgrounds Arena in Watertown, N.Y., on Saturday night.
