The Lufkin Police Special Services Unit arrested five people on drug charges Monday following a raid at a Lufkin mobile home park.

Billie Joe Dowdy (far left), 32, Jasmine Thomas (2nd from right), 25, Tra Tudmon (far right), 27, Maximino Padilla (2nd from left), 36, all of Lufkin, and Alfonso Padilla (bottom), 49, of Diboll, were taken into custody at a trailer on lot No. 12 of Scenic Acres Mobile Home Park off John Redditt Drive.

Tudmon and Thomas, who is pregnant and responsible for the lease on the mobile home, have been dealing methamphetamine from the home and were recently evicted. Tudmon and Thomas were also each charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon for a 9mm handgun found in the bedroom they were sharing. The gun came back as being stolen.

A search of the home and individuals arrested uncovered meth, pills, the gun, an assortment of drug paraphernalia and an unknown brown substance. Dowdy had a warrant for her arrest in addition to cocaine, Xanax and marijuana found in her bra.

Additional charges are pending. The group was taken to the Angelina County Jail, where they are awaiting book in.
