Whitetails Unlimited Banquet is Coming to Lufkin on August 2

The Whitetails Unlimited Piney Woods Chapter Banquet is taking place on Friday, August 2 at the Lufkin Convention Center located at 601 N. Second Street. Doors will open at 5:30 for games and raffles along with a social hour, then dinner will be served at 7 p.m.

The purpose of the organization is to raise funds in support of educational programs, wildlife habitat enforcement and acquisition, and the preservation of the shooting sports and hunting tradition for future generations. To date, over $135 million has been expended on program services that enhance and foster their mission.

By supporting the Piney Woods Chapter in Lufkin, you'll also be supporting programs geared toward area veterans. These men and women have sacrificed much both emotionally and physically for America, and many times our government will not step forward and help in their time of need.

Through the years, money raised from this event has been used to help these veterans in need.

A single ticket for the event is $35, while a spouse ticket is $25, while a child's ticket (15 & under) is $10. This is a family-friendly event.

Numerous table sponsorships are still available. Many of these sponsorships include credit towards a gun of choice at the event.
