Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd Show Off 24-Karat Looks on CMAs Red Carpet

Maren Morris is up for two important awards at the 2018 CMA Awards, and she chose to celebrate this by dressing for the job — namely, garbing herself from head to toe in trophy gold.

Morris showed off her petite figure in a daring, shimmery gown, which clung to her curves and revealed lots of skin via a plunging neckline, sky-high thigh slit, and a strategically placed cutout at the waist. Meanwhile, her new husband Ryan Hurd coordinated nicely by choosing a gold blazer accented with black lapels. He paired it with a classic white shirt, but chose to go tie-less for the evening.

Morris will be going head-to-head in the Female Vocalist category against some of her genre’s most formidable females: Miranda Lambert, Kelsea Ballerini, Kacey Musgraves and Carrie Underwood. She also is up for Musical Event of the Year for “Dear Hate” with Vince Gill.

The 2018 CMA Awards are held at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena and aired live by ABC. The show is being hosted by Underwood and Brad Paisley, who have helmed the event for 11 consecutive years running.
