Miranda Lambert, Dolly Parton + More Read ‘Mean Tweets’ [Watch]
The second all-country music edition of Mean Tweets aired on Jimmy Kimmel Live! after the CMA Awards on Wednesday night (Nov. 2). Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Florida Georgia Line, Willie Nelson and more took part.
Not everyone laughed out loud at their "mean tweet." Lambert seemed less than amused by someone who wrote, "In case of a national emergency, all traffic will be redirected to Miranda Lambert’s forehead." Cassadee Pope raised a middle finger to the tweeter who took aim at her arm tattoo.
Parton seemed to enjoy being compared to a prostitute, however, Nelson more or less agreed with the Twitter user who said "Willie Nelson, you’re getting pretty crusty, pal."
Trace Adkins, Randy Houser, Bonnie Raitt and Cole Swindell were also targets of Mean Tweets on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
"Yee yee my a--hole," someone tweeted at Granger Smith, aka Earl Dibbles Jr.
"Bonnie Raitt looks like the aunt who would have a few too many at your mom’s birthday party and try to fight your dad," another said of Raitt.
"Why does the blonde in Little Big Town have hair like a Zoolander villain," a Twitter user wrote about Kimberly Schlapman. The blonde singer laughed it off with her three "Better Man" bandmates.
Mean Tweets is a regular segment on Kimmel's late night talk show. This segment came after the 50th anniversary CMA Awards, which saw stars like Parton honored, and artists like Little Big Town and Maren Morris recognized with awards. Dan + Shay, Jana Kramer and Brett Eldredge also took part.
