‘MythBusters’ Build Team Returns in Netflix ‘White Rabbit Project’ Trailer
MythBusters may be carrying on under the banner of a new host, but at least some of the original team is getting back to work at what they do best. The M7 Build Team’s Netflix White Rabbit Project has an official trailer ahead of its December 9 premiere.
The former MythBusters team of Kari Byron, Tory Belleci, and Grant Imahara have released a first look at the new White Rabbit Project, which will see the trio “go down the rabbit hole on the internet” to test various concepts. So reads the offiical synopsis:
In the Netflix series, the three head down the rabbit hole to investigate weird and wonderful events from pop culture, science and history. Under their microscope are topics as diverse as jailbreaks, superpower technology, heists and crazy world war two weapons. In each episode the hosts immerse themselves in experiments, builds and tests as they sleuth the truth behind these and other well googled themes.
It was back in 2014 that MythBusters tacked on an announcement that Bryon, Bellecy and Imahara were no longer with the series, ahead of what turned out to be the show’s final year. The Science Channel will continue the franchise as MythBusters: The Search, a new reality competition to name the replacement hosts.
Stay tuned for the latest on The White Rabbit Project as it arrives, and watch the trailer again above.
