Three Illinois men are in custody after Nacogdoches Sheriff's Deputies found a large amount of cocaine inside their vehicle early Tuesday morning.

A Nacogdoches County Deputy stopped a passenger vehicle for a seat belt violation on Highway 59 Northbound shortly after Midnight. The vehicle was occupied by three males who all appeared very nervous and gave conflicting statements about their trip. The deputy grew suspicious of criminal activity and obtained consent to search the motor vehicle. During the search of the vehicle the deputy located 260 grams of cocaine that was located in the trunk of the vehicle.

All three subjects were arrested and transported to the Nacogdoches County Jail. Carl Edward White, 46, Leon White Jr., 31, and Stanley Humphries, 32, were all booked in for Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st felony. Bond has been set at $75,000.00.

The Nacogdoches Police Department assisted on the traffic stop.
