Nacogdoches Reports Two More COVID-19 Related Deaths
The Nacogdoches County Emergency Management Office (NCEMO) is reporting two more Nacogdoches County deaths resulting from complications from COVID-19. This brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths in the county to 24.
According to the NCEMO Facebook Page, the two deaths were associated with long-term care facilities. One of those passing was male between the ages of 60-69, and the other was a female between the ages of 80-89. A total of 319 confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Nacogdoches County with an estimated 257 recoveries.
Even though there are only 38 active cases being reported in the county, officials are quick to point out that the virus is still and present and spreading. Social distancing, frequent hand washing, and the wearing of masks are strongly advised to keep you and those around you safe.
