The Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office report that a burglary investigation has resulted in two Nacogdoches women being arrested this week. 

On August 1st, deputies with the Sheriff'd Office were dispatched to a residence in the Chireno area on Highway 21 East. Deputies found a residence that had been burglarized with several items taken. Upon further investigation, deputies felt that the actors knew the home owner due to how entry was made and what items were taken from the residence.
Sheriff Investigators identified two possible suspects in the burglary investigation.

On Thursday, August 4th, deputies arrested one of the suspects in the case on a non-related charges. Roquisha Berry, 26, was booked into the county jail on outstanding warrants for criminal mischief and a probation violation charge.  Sheriff investigators conducted interviews with Berry who gave a full confession to the burglary at the residence.

Sheriff Investigators were also able to identify a witness to the burglary who had identified both suspects. On Monday evening, August 8th, warrants were obtained for burglary of a habitation on both suspects. The final suspect, Mari Grigsby, 25, was arrested Tuesday afternoon. August 9th,  by sheriff deputies and booked into the Nacogdoches County Jail. Both subjects were charged with Burglary of a habitation,  a 2nd degree felony.

Sheriff Investigators have recovered most of the property which includes a computer and jewelry that was stolen from the residence by the suspects.  Sheriff Investigators have obtained a full confession from both suspects.
