NASCAR Post-Race Brawl Is All Kinds of Nuts [VIDEO]
The AAA Texas 500 started out as a car race, but ended up more like a WWE match.
Jeff Gordon and Brad Keselowski got into a brawl after Sunday night's race. The dispute began after Keselowski made contact with Gordon while trying to pass him toward the end of the race that left Gordon with a flat tire.
Gordon wound up finishing in 29th place, while Keselowski took third. Gordon is now in fourth in the points standings. Both drivers are in the hunt for one of the four spots in final round of the Chase for the Cup.
Things didn't get physical until Kevin Harvick, who was the runner-up, got Keselowski in the middle of the melee.
Gordon certainly has no love for Keselowski:
We went down into one and I just wanted to get on the outside of [Johnson] and out of nowhere I just got slammed by [Keselowski] and it cut my left rear tire. He's just a dips---, you know? I don't know how he's ever won a championship. And I'm just sick and tired of him. That's why everybody's fighting him and running him down."
Keselowski, meanwhile, defended his move. "I'm here to win races for Roger Penske and my team, and that means if there's a gap, I have to take it. If it requires a tiny bit of rubbing, that's okay. And it's not anything I don't expect on the other side."
Keselowski is no stranger to irritating his fellow drivers. Just last month, he and Matt Kenseth got into a tiff after the Bank of America 500, which you can see below:
