Nashville heartthrob Chris Carmack is now a father! He and fiancée Erin Slaver welcomed a baby girl into the world on Aug. 30.

Slaver posted an adorable photo announcing the birth on Instagram. The picture shows the tiny infant sleeping on her chest, noting that she and Carmack are “completely in love” with their little girl. Slaver also mentioned she was able to give birth naturally with the help of a doula and her future husband by her side.

Carmack and Slaver were engaged in March 2016, which Slaver also announced on Instagram with a sweet photo showing off her ring, captioned, “sparkling drinks and fingers."

On Nashville, Carmack portrays Will Lexington, a hunky country star struggling to hide his homosexuality. The show was recently canceled by ABC, but picked up again by CMT after fans protested its loss. The Season 5 premiere is slated for January 2017.

Slaver is also no stranger to showbiz or country music. The fiddle player has toured with Martina McBride and several other artists, as well as appeared on Nashville as Juliette Barnes' (Hayden Panettiere) background singer. She’s also performed as a real-life background vocalist for artists like Rod Stewart, Rascal Flatts, Kelly Clarkson, Lady Antebellum and many more.

Carmack has tried his hand at music as well, noting he actually started playing before acting. He released an EP of original songs last year called Pieces of You.
