Nearly Half of Texas, All Louisiana Under Flash Flood Watch
It's been raining quite a bit across the Pineywoods today, and apparently, we haven't seen the worst of it. In fact, the entire Eastern third of Texas and pretty much all of Louisiana are under a Flash Flood Watch through tomorrow.
Another 3-6 inches of rain is still possible across the region, and if that weren't bad enough, severe weather is a good possibility on Wednesday. There could be gusty winds, frequent lightning, and an isolated tornado is even possible.
The rains should clear out by mid day Thursday with a nice warm day on tap Friday before another round of storms moves in on Saturday.
