‘Nellie’ is The Winnie Berry Pet of the Week
Nellie's story did not have a good start.
The Healer-mix was rescued from a ditch when she was only 8-weeks old. Since that time (6 months) she has been a resident at the Winnie Berry Humane Society of Angelina County in Lufkin. Although she has been very well taken care of while at Winnie Berry, Nellie would love to be a part of a forever family.
Nellie is around 8-months-old and gets along well with people and other dogs. She is current on all her shots, she is micro-chipped and spayed. She would adjust well as an indoor or outdoor dog.
