New Movie Releases — ‘New Year’s Eve’ and ‘The Sitter’ [VIDEO]

Only two new movies open in wide release this weekend, but never fear — a whole slew of new flicks are slated for theaters the week of December 19th, including ‘The Adventures of Tintin,’ ‘Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol,’ and the highly-anticipated ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.’

But if you need to get your popcorn freak on now, here’s what’s premiering this week.

For serious bang for your movie-going buck, check out the star-studded ‘New Year’s Eve,’ which features more than a dozen highly-recognizable faces celebrating love and hope on New York City’s most dazzling night of the year.

And in ‘The Sitter,’ Jonah Hill stars as a suspended college student who winds up babysitting the three young misfit kids next door.
