A New Whataburger is Opening Thursday in San Augustine, Texas
It's time for patty melts and taquitos in the Cradle of Texas.
GVCS Inc. has announced that it will open the doors to the first Whataburger in San Augustine on Thursday at 11 a.m. The franchisee now has more than two dozen locations in East Texas and Central Louisiana.
“We look forward to making sure the people of San Augustine won’t have to leave town to get their Whataburger favorites,” Whataburger franchisee Chris Johnson of GVCS Inc. said. “They can get the classic Number 1, our popular All-Time Favorites and Limited-Time Offers. And we will always have breakfast daily from 11 p.m. to 11 a.m. all at our new location at 209 S. El Camino Crossing.”
The restaurant will open with 24-hour drive-thru and dining room service. In the coming weeks, there will also be online ordering for curbside pickup and delivery via the Whataburger App and Whataburger.com.
The restaurant will employ 75 locals called Family Members, led by Operating Partner Jimmy Hadnot.
The first guests in the drive-thru lane and dining room will each receive a Whataburger gift basket.
Whataburger is open 24/7, 364 days a year (closed Christmas Day). Breakfast is served from 11 p.m. to 11 a.m. Whataburger is a Texas staple and serves up some of the best hamburgers in the nation.
Their menu also features specialty favorites like the patty melt, sweet and spicy bacon burger, honey bbq chicken strip sandwich, taquitos, and whatawings. Whatever you order on the Whataburger menu is going to be great.
