After day 2 of the KICKS 105 Big Bass Splash, Steven Ruschmeier of Slidell continues to hold on to the top spot of the Sealy Outdoors tournament,  However, it continues to get a little more crowded at the top.

Aden Orrin, Sr. of Angleton, Texas brought in the largest bass of day two.  His fish tipped the scales to 9.21 pounds, good for an hourly first place check, as well as putting him 3rd overall for the tournament.  Belinda Marrs of Milam, TX  also staked her claim within the top five with a catch of 8.72, good for fifth overall.

Every day of the 3-day tournament, $15,000 is up for grabs with the exact weight fish giveaway.  On day one, the exact weight 5.00 did not get claimed, so that will be given away during the closing ceremonies.  Saturday, only the 3.00 was claimed.  Dwight Draper of Princeton, Louisiana takes home $5,000 for that fish.  However, the exact weight 4 and 5 pound bass were not claimed, so that's another $10,000 that will be given away on Sunday.

The weather has been nice for the first two days of the tournament, although the wind picked up a little on Saturday.  On the final day on the tourney, the wind will be more of a factor as south winds gusting to over 20 mph are possible on the lake.  A chance of showers also moves into the forecast on Sunday, but as of now, this slight chance doesn't enter the scene until after 4 pm.

So, the stage is set for a great day 3 of the $500,000 Big Bass Splash.  Will the leaderboard change at all?  Bring a lawn chair and come on out to see all the weigh in action and closing ceremony at Cypress Bend Park.
