Pets of the Week – Angel, Zach, and Polly
We've teamed up with the Humane Society of Angelina County this week for some pets that come with very compelling stories.
Do you know what a polydactyl is?
It just so happens that our two kittens pictured, Zach and Polly, are polydactyls, which means they have extra toes. Zach has a total of 26 toes, Polly has 22. A normal cat has 18.
Our next pet is Angel. She is a Texas Blue Lacy. She was found with her puppies abandoned on a rental property scrounging in a burn pile. Only one of her puppies survived and Angel also died as a result of malnourishment. However, thanks to help of the Humane Society of Angelina County, they're getting her back to health and fattening he up. Now, we just need a loving family to give her the home she would desperately love to have.
