According to a press release, Texas Rangers with the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) have arrested a Polk County Sheriff's Office Jailer on a charge of improper sexual activity with a person in custody.

This arrest was conducted at the request of Polk County Sheriff Byron Lyons.

An investigation into this improper sexual activity began earlier this month (September). Charity Prince, 25, was booked into the Polk County Jail on Thursday, September 21. The charge is a second-degree felony.

Polk County Crime Stoppers

In a separate story from Polk County, Officials with the Crime Stoppers agency are asking for the public's help in identifying suspects wanted in a recent crime.
According to the agency's Facebook page, on August 26, 2023 an Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle was reported to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office that occurred at Dollar General on Loop 393 in Livingston. A picture of the suspects is below.
