WINNER: Another Texas Millionaire as Powerball Nears $1 Billion
The Powerball drawing on Saturday night produced five new millionaires across the United States. Those winning tickets were sold in stores in Indiana, California, Florida, Washington, and Texas.
These winning tickets matched all five of the non-Powerball numbers. None of the five winners spent the extra buck for the Power Play option. In doing so, they all lost out on the opportunity to double their money.

The Powerball Jackpot Continues to Soar
Saturday's winning numbers were 6-23-25-34-51, and the Powerball number was 3. Nobody matched all six numbers, so the $750 million jackpot now moves to $800 million. The estimated cash payout is nearly $385 million.
The next Powerball drawing will be held on Monday, March 25.
The Mega Millions Jackpot is Over $1 Billion
No one matched all six numbers for Friday's Mega Millions game (3-8-31-35-44, MB - 16). The jackpot for that drawing was $977 million. However, the next drawing on Tuesday, March 26 will be for a $1.1 billion jackpot. The estimated cash-out value is nearly $526 million.
The Mega Millions drawing on Friday did produce six-$1 million winners. The stores selling the winning tickets were in Illinois, California, Virginia, Florida, Nebraska, and Texas.
The winning Texas ticket was sold at this store in Creedmoor, Texas.
Creedmoor is located just a few miles south of Austin and has a population of 452.
