New Price Is Right Scratch-off Game Comes To Texas Lottery
Growing up in the 1970s, I spent countless hours watching The Price Is Right. On weekday mornings at 10, you could find me glued to the TV, watching contestants 'Come on down' while Bob Barker dealt with crazy contestants playing a myriad of pricing games. Oh, I might have also watched the show for the prize models. Even after five decades, The Price Is Right is still one of the most alluring brands when it comes to game show television.
Capitalizing On The Popularity of The Price Is Right
The Texas Lottery has teamed up with the popular game show by introducing The Price Is Right scratch-off game. Each game ticket costs $10 and features 4 top jackpot prizes of $250,000. There are also 4 secondary cash prizes of $50,000.

How To Play The Game Ticket
The scratch-off features 3 separate chances to win with games that mirror some of those seen on the game show. The first game is "What's Up For Bid". Scratch to reveal your bid and the actual retail price. If they match, you win the corresponding cash prize. The second game is 'Punch A Bunch'. Match any of your punchboard numbers to any of the key numbers and win the assigned cash prize. The third game is the Showcase game. If your bid matches the exact retail value, you win the corresponding cash amount.
How To Win The 'Game Show Experience'
Anyone purchasing a game ticket that is a non-winner can enter the 'Game Show Experience'. Winners of this will win a trip to Los Angeles, plus they will get a shot to win prizes with the online Game Show Experience. In fact, you can enter this 'second-chance' promotion without buying a game ticket. Just fill out the registration information here.
The Prize Is Right scratch-off game is supposed to officially be offered at Texas Lottery outlets beginning October 5, but numerous stores across the state have already started selling the game tickets.
