That winning ticket is worth a little over $1.8 million, before taxes. The Texas Two Step jackpot will now go back down to $200,000 for the next drawing on Thursday, August 6.

Interesting Things To Know About Kosse, Texas

Kosse, Texas is located on Highway 7, between Centerville and Marlin; that's about a 2-hour drive from Nacogdoches. The Kosse city limit sign shows a population of 454. The town may be tiny, but it does have several claims to fame. One of the trailblazers of music was born in Kosse. Bob Wills, the King of Western Swing, was born there in 1905. Legendary Texas gunslinger John Wesley Hardin was not born in Kosse, but he did gun down a man at a hotel in Kosse.
