Ray Johnston of the Ray Johnston Band stopped by the Kicks 105 studios bringing great music and stories.From growing up in Alabama to being signed to play for the Dallas Mavericks and battling a rare form of leukemia, the Ray Johnston story is a compelling one.  Now in remission, Ray has set his sights directly on his musical career.  Against The Grain, his current EP is available on iTunes so check it out.  Here is Ray's performance of "Small Town Square", a song co-written by Trent Tomlinson, recorded live in the Kicks 105 studios.
