Roma Italian Bistro Comes To Lufkin

Lasagna, Meatballs, Ravioli, Baked Ziti, Manicotti and so much more, is on the menu at Roma Italian Bistro. Right now they have locations in Ruston, Shreveport, Minden, West Monroe and Bastrop. Soon they will be here, taking the old Ray's West building and getting it hopping again.

Seven years after a fire destroyed the interior of Ray’s West, the location is set to get a new lease on life by Roma Italian Bistro as early as the spring of 2020.

Owners Florenc Leshnja and Tim Raka have worked for years with Ray’s owner Lawana Ray Johnson to purchase this building, Leshnja said. They finalized that purchase eight months ago and are beginning their work to make the building usable, he said.

I am all for more options here in the Lufkin area. So welcome to Roma, or welcome back, as the case may be. For some reason that name sounds familiar, weren't they here before? I know the old Ray's West building used to be Texas Burger. Comment down below and let me know!
