When it rains, it pours...it's more than a cliche in East Texas, it's a way of life.  A stalled front will continue to cause downpours and possible severe weather across the area this weekend.

Although Lufkin and Nacogdoches are not in the heart of the bulls eye for the greatest risk of severe weather, high winds, hail, and isolated tornadoes are not out of the question for the Pineywoods on Saturday.

The best chance for severe weather in Deep East Texas will happen on Saturday afternoon and continuing through early Saturday evening.  The best chance for heavy downpours will be Sunday afternoon.  With the ground already saturated, it won't take much for flooding to occur.  Areas to the east and southeast of Lufkin have received the most rain over the past few days.  Colmesneil has recorded nearly 9 inches of rain thus far.

Looking ahead, Monday should be sunny with a high of 74, but rain chances will return again for Tuesday and Wednesday.
