‘Now’ Is Coming: Shania Twain Unveils Cover Art, Official Release Date
Big news on the Shania Twain music front, and this time, it's official. The superstar revealed the cover of her upcoming album, Now, on social media on Wednesday (June 14) and shared that it's set to be released on Sept. 29.
Looking stunning as she did 20 years ago, Twain invokes nostalgia in the album art, wearing a pair of cheetah-print sleeves that appear to be part of a larger ensemble that includes a revealing top. The pop-country icon is striking an alluring pose as she looks to the sky in a black and white shot. While Twain didn't include any accompanying commentary about the cover, her fans offer her rave reviews, saying "Perfection. You are incredible" and calling the artwork "gorgeous," "stunning" and "classy."
Twain informed Canadian Broadcasting Corporation's Scott Oake that the album would be dropping in late August during an interview at the Stanley Cup Finals in Nashville earlier this week. However, it's coming later — she says via Twitter that Now will close out September. The album's first single, "Life’s About to Get Good," is to be released to radio on Friday (June 16).

The legendary star debuted the new single at the 2017 Stagecoach Festival in California back in April, and it was featured in a TV advertisement for the 2018 Winter Olympics. She's said that many of the album's songs revolve around her divorce from her former husband and producer. While featuring lyrics like “I wasn’t just broken, I was shattered / I trusted you so much, you’re all that mattered," the kickoff single features an upbeat mandolin that should make it pretty radio-friendly.
Now follows the platinum-selling album Up!, making it her first studio album release since 2002.
