‘Survivor Obstacle Course’ Shows The Hurdles For Domestic Violence Survivors
On October 26th, the Family Crisis Center will have a demonstration of the real hurdles that domestic violence and sexual assault victims endure.
It will begin in between classes, starting at 10:50 AM at the Student Center on the Angelina College Campus.
Participants that volunteer to challenge the course will get free pizza upon finishing.
The good people behind the organization stress prevention during the month of October, with fun, free events for anyone to attend.
You can also show your support by wearing purple throughout the month, which isn't a bad color to wear in Lufkin or Nacogdoches.
This year's theme is "Unmasking Domestic Violence: and t-shirts can be purchased here or at each event for $7 (short sleeve) or $11 (long sleeve)
Come out, test your strength and agility, and support the cause of awareness!
