Iowa High School senior Rachel Bird brought a cardboard cutout of NFL quarterback Tim Tebow to the prom.

The cutout was homemade, no less!  Bird says she first sent Tebow a prom invite via Twitter, but not surprisingly he didn’t respond.  So rather than go stag, she decided to build her own date.  “The piece of cardboard we found smelled strongly of wood glue,” Bird said.  “We sprayed a little [cologne] on him to kind of hide that.”  King and Queen of the prom they may not be but she did get some attention!
