If you're time-warped to an era of Stevie Nicks and Linda Ronstadt, you're picking up the right vibes.

Country music is as American as football / apple pie / insert-any-other-cliche-phrase-here, so it makes sense that, from time to time, the genre's artists would don some patriotic clothing.

Gloriana’s Tom Gossin and his wife Jaime welcomed a baby boy on Thursday afternoon (Jan. 7). The singer made the announcement on the band’s Twitter page, calling it the best day of his life.

The future of country trio Gloriana is in doubt as singer Rachel Reinert has decided to leave the group. In a post on Twitter, Reinert thanked fans as well as Tom and Mike Gossin before revealing what’s next for her.

In addition to having their first Top 5 hit, ‘(Kissed You) Good Night,’ which also recently went gold, country trio Gloriana is now celebrating their sophomore album’s impressive chart debut. ‘A Thousand Miles Left Behind’ came in at No. 2 on Billboard’s Country Album Chart and at No. 10 on Billboard’s all-genre Top 200 albums chart.

With their latest single, ‘(Kissed You) Good Night,’ inching closer and closer to the Top 5 on the country singles chart, Gloriana have a whole new reason to celebrate. Their radio-loved song has recently been certified gold for digital sales exceeding 500,000 copies sold.

A song that stands the test of time is what all songwriters strive for.  Wood Newton and Thom Shepherd created that song and David Ball brought it to fans.
